David Meader, son of Nicholas Meader (c.1683-1767) [0007] and his wife Lydia ( – ), was born in 1720 in Durham, NH. He married Sarah, probably Sarah Hoag, daughter of his father's second wife, sometime before 1763, since she is named in the 1763 will of Nicholas’ wife as Sarah Meader. David was named in his father's 1767 will. He petitioned on account of damage to his meadow by masts in 1776. In 1778 he was living in Gilmanton.
